How to Use the Update Stock Button?

0:00
Hello guys, welcome back to another Tirebase video. Well, we're going to show you how to use the Update Stock button, which is going to allow you to adjust your inventory for any product that you have within Tirebase.
0:12
And what we're going to do is, first of all, we're going to go to Settings. Okay, so this, ah, the, the last button.
0:19
And we're going to go to Settings, and we're going to go to Permissions. So once we select Permissions, we're going to edit our role.
0:26
It's very important, ah, to select the role you want to use, ah, to make this modification. So in this case, I'm just going to select, ah, the Admin, ah, role.
0:35
And I'm going to go all the way down to the Allow Users to Update Stock from Products. If you have this option off, let me show you how it would look like.
0:44
You, you won't be able to see the button. So as you can see right here, we're missing one. One button, which is the Update Stock.
0:50
Ah, but you need to turn this on, ah, for that user so they can see, ah, the Update Stock button.
0:56
So there it is. Okay, we're going to look for a product and we're going to make that modification for this Units.
1:03
So I have 124 here, ah, in stock. And if I go ahead and select, ah, the, the information from this product, I can get the manufacturer product number.
1:15
Ah, there's also, you, you can get it from here, ah, but once you click on the Update Stock button, you can search by MFG, Raw Size, Brand, anything, ah, that might be related to the product, you can search it from here, ah, with this parameter.
1:29
So it would be MFG, Raw Size, Brand, or Style. So in this case, we're going to, ah, paste here our MFG.
1:36
You can select the product, and in this case, I have 124 units. Ah, so as you can see, ah, this units, if I want to have 130, I would have to add 6 tires.
1:51
So in this case, I'm going to type in here 6, because we're going to add 6 units. This is just to confirm the entrance, And we're going to select the bin if you're using bin I would recommend you to select the bin from here so you can, ah, specify where you want to save those 6 units.
2:07
So we're going to select the A7, and in this case, as you can see, there's an asterisk here, ah, next to Movement Reason.
2:14
Ah, you can make that as a mandatory, uhm, update, or a mandatory, ah, field. Ah, if you go to Settings, and we're going to go Settings.
2:24
Generals, and we're going to go all the way down, and there's the Require Movement Reason and Update Stock. Ah, if you have this on, you're going to have this option as mandatory.
2:36
So in this case, we're just going to add an explanation here, a reason. So we're going to say, ah, those 6 units were lost.
2:48
For 3 days. Let's just say it like that. So we just added those because we had them back, ah, ah, at the warehouse, and they were, ah, out of sight, so we, we weren't able to, ah, see them, but in this case, we're just going to add them.
3:02
So in this case, that's, ah, those are the 6 tires, we're just going to click Update. Okay, the system is going to let you know it has been updated and if we go back to the product, 130 are here, and if you go all the way to the, ah, Tracking Unit Report which is, ah, the report where you're going to
3:21
be able to see all the movements, ah, where this product has been involved, we're going to select the newest first so we can see the latest movement which is the Inventory Adjustment, and this is for 6 tires, so we had 124, we added 6 tires, and now we're at 130.
3:39
If I select the Invoice Adjustment, there's the, ah, Build Movement Reason option, so if I click here, the system is going to let me know those 6 units were lost for 3 days.
3:48
Okay? And you can have your Movement Reason as well on that section, ah, so you can justify, ah, those units that were added.
3:56
And if you want to go down, so let's just those 6 units that were lost for 3 days, ah, for some reason we lost them again, let's just go back to 124, so we need to take those 6, ah, let's go back to the Update Stock button, we're going to select the MFG, again our product, and we're going to, ah, type
4:17
in minus 6. So if I go minus 6 as well, and I select the bin from where I, I saved those 6, as you can see right here, 87, we're going to add a Movement Reason called Nevermind, They're Lost Again.
4:37
Okay, and we're just going to leave it like that, we're going to click Update, and if we look for our product, as you can see right here, this is the, ah, 124, I'm going to select the update stack that.
4:49
Quick Unit Tracking Report option, and the six units added, that was the reason, and the last reason is Nevermind, They're Lost Again, so we're back at 124.
5:00
But it's that simple how you can add and, ah, ah, take from the actual units, ah, with the update, ah, stack button.
5:08
Ah, let us know if you have any questions regarding this process, and have a great day.
