How to Manage Product Edit Permissions for Users?

Hello team, in this video we're going to see how to give access to your users, basically, so they can edit, modify, delete products.

So this is a permission for your users. The first thing we're going to do is we're going to go to the settings section.

And, in this case, you've got to think about the role first. So, if you're going to modify an admin role or, ,any sort of role, what I would recommend you first is to go to the permission section, select the role you want to give permission to.

So, in this case, I'm going to select admin. And if we go all the way down, there's the allow users to create, modify, or delete products, uh, permission.

So just make sure to turn this option on. Uh, and once you do that, you can go ahead and select, You uh, from this section, uh, the user you want to, uh, add that, uh, role.

So, if you already specified the role, the system is going to update that permission automatically so that your user is going to be able to modify anything within, uhm, the products and services section.

So, if I turn this off, basically, uh, and if I go to products and services, the system's not going to allow me to, uh, do any modification or modification.

Products, as you can see, I cannot add any products. And if I go here into any sort of product, if I go into the, uh, three dots here, the system's only going to allow me to make modifications on, on, uh, consult and fixed prices if that option is, uh, available for the, for the user.

Uh, but in this case, if you have that option off, this is the only thing you are going to see.

Uh, this, these two icons right here. Uh, also, if we do that modification directly here, and if we refresh here the page, now the add button is already here, so we can create products from scratch.

And also, if I look for a product, the system is going to give me more options, uh, so I can add image, I can also make modifications on the product itself, and if this product is, uh, added, uh, directly into this license, the system is going to allow me to delete.

So, if you have created any product, any manual product, the system is going to allow you to delete with another icon here, a red icon for deletion of, of products.

Uh, but basically, this is the permission, this is how it works. Just make sure to, you assign this permission to the specific role you need, and then you're going to be, uh, you're going to see those, uh, changes reflected directly into Tarabase.
